Meet The Team

Pastor Jacob Heine has been a pastor for 13 years, and after a sprained ankle in the first few years of being a pastor and seeing himself getting out of shape took up running and feel in love with it...eventually. He has had the chance to run the Walt Disney Marathon and the Chicago Marathon along with countless half marathons, and other runs. He loves being example of taking care of creation, including the body that God has given him, most especially for his wife (Theresa) and two daughters (Hannah and Paige). Jacob Currently serves as pastor at Christ the Rock Lutheran Church in Rockford, IL.

Carlos Juarez is a Westchester Resident. He is a crossfitter, runner, Team Chapel alum and a spartan. Last year, he completed the Boston marathon. He is happy to be a part of Team Chapel and excited to support such a worthy cause.

Pastor Travis Yee is a native New Yorker who loves his family, loves Jesus and loves the New York Mets.
He was called to Trinity Lutheran Church in October 2014 and has served the church since January 2015.
He is a alumnus of Concordia College 04 and of Concordia Seminary 08. He and his wife Phyllis have two children.
